Notice of City Council Public Hearing for June 8, 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Covington City Council has scheduled a public hearing on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 during the regular scheduled City Council meeting at 7 p.m. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comments from the public, both written and oral, regarding adoption of the Lakepointe 2018 Proposal to amend Covington’s Comprehensive Plan to increase the maximum allowed dwelling units and commercial square footage within the Lakepointe Urban Village Subarea & amendments to the 2013 Planned Action Ordinance.  The city council meeting will be held telephonically and virtually to comply with state executive and legislative actions that indefinitely prohibit public agencies from meeting in person. This prohibition will remain in effect until the termination of the COVID‑19 state of emergency, or until rescinded by gubernatorial or legislative action.
