NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Covington Planning Commission will a hold a public hearing for consideration of amendments to Covington Municipal Code (CMC) including: CMC 8.20 Noise Control & CMC 14.60 Clearing and Grading Regulations to allow night-time fill activities to implement an approved DNR Reclamation Permit. The Planning Commission’s public hearing will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 6:30 pm, to be held in the Council Chambers at Covington City Hall, 16720 SE 271st Street, Covington, WA.
The purpose of this public hearing is for the Planning Commission to receive comments from the public, both written and oral, regarding the proposed amendments and to forward a recommendation to the City Council. These amendments are a non-project proposal and will apply citywide.
All persons desiring to comment may do so in writing to Kelly Thompson, Planning Commission Clerk, at 16720 SE 271st Street, Suite 100, Covington, WA, 98042 (please be sure to include your name and mailing address) or by testifying at the public hearing on March 21, 2019.

This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2); the lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of issuance. The comment period is 14 calendar days. Comments on this DNS must be submitted by first class mail or delivered to the responsible official at the above lead agency address. Please reference SEPA18-03. There is no administrative appeal of a DNS associated with a legislative decision per CMC 16.10.210.
